Taiwan Society of Interior Designers

The purpose of this association:

The association takes the academic research of indoor space design, enhances the level of indoor space design in my country, and promotes the sound development of the indoor design industry.

The task of this Association:

1. 1. Study theoretical and practical of indoor space design.
   2. Hold seminars, lectures, training, observation and other activities related to indoor space design.
   3. Collect books, magazines, regulations and other information related to indoor space design as a reference for research and development.
   4. Distribute interior space design journals and books, and promote the contact exchanges of related academic groups at home and abroad.
   5. Assist in the implementation of interior space design and education policies and laws.
   6. Accept the entrustment of agencies or groups to study and answer the interior design related questions in academic and practical.

Since its establishment in 2005, the Association has continued to actively promote the three major projects, including:

1. 1. Student maps of indoor/space design departments of colleges and universities in the country;
   2. Graduation and Joint Exhibition of Interior/Space Design of National College National College;
   3. Discussion and promotion of industry -academia cooperation and professional certification issues.

With the enthusiasm of several chairmen, supervisors and members, it has achieved considerable results.The “Student Map of the Department of Interior/Space Design of the National University” activity has been launched since it was created. At present, the 13th competition work has been completed.The Eighth Co -Exhibition Campaign has been completed in the “Graduation Exhibition of the National Indoor Space Design Department”.Both activities can have more than 20 schools, and the participation of more than thousands of students and teachers is the key and motivation for the success of the event.Learning to complete these tasks is mainly to rely on the leaders and efforts of previous chairmen, supervisors, cadres, and secretary -generals. I also thank all teachers and students in the undertaking and co -organized schools for their help and the sponsorship of the industry.

In addition to the main tasks of the Eighth Society, in addition to promoting the 14th “National College/Space Design Department Student Competition” and the ninth “National Interior Space Design Department Graduation Exhibition”, they also hope to continue to promote two tasks.It is hoped that it can continue to promote international exchanges on the basis of the 7th Society, so that students’ competitive maps and joint exhibition activities can grow sustainable.

The Ninth National Indoor/Space Design Department Graduation Exhibition “is scheduled to be held on May 15-18, 2020 at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei City.”It is scheduled to be held on June 5-7, 2020 at Taichung Cultural Asset Park.Learn to look forward to entering a new stage.It is also expected that the new generation of designers will be able to adhere to the challenges in the future, based on Taiwan, look at China, and the world’s spiritual design stage that is active in the world.It is hoped that these activities can be the most important communication and competition platform for indoor and space design students, including mainland China and the world’s indoor and space design, and become the highest honor award for indoor design students in the world.

Learn to invite and welcome all friends, teachers, and designers who like indoor designs to join the Society enthusiastically here.The work of the Society requires the support, assistance and participation of the teachers and designers; the activities of the Society requires the enthusiasm of you and future designers.Let us all work hard for this industry that is safe, peaceful, comfortable and beautiful for human living environment, so that this industry will permanently and shiny!
